                              ORDINANCE NO.   9963 
      
                 
                  AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHATTANOOGA CITY CODE,
                  PART II, SECTIONS 31-36, 31-37, 31-41, AND
                  31-43, AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO SEWER SERVICE
                  CHARGES AND FEES.
                 
                                                     
                     
         
          	BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
         
          CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, that Chattanooga City Code, Part II,
         
          be amended as follows:
         
         
          	SECTION 1.  That Section 31-36(a) be amended by
         
          deleting the table therein and substituting the following

  		SECTION 5.  That Section 31-41(c) be amended by deleting
 
  	$0.086 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.090 as the rate for Bc,
 
    	and by deleting $0.058 and substituting in lieu thereof $0.060 as
 
    	the rate for Sc.
 
 
  		SECTION 6.  That Section 31-43(b) be amended by deleting
 
   	"eighty-three dollars and nine cents ($83.09)" and substituting in
        
         lieu thereof "eighty-seven dollars and nine cents ($87.09)."
 
 
  		SECTION 7.  That Section 31-43(f) be amended by deleting
    09
  	"twenty dollars and sixty-two cents ($20.62)" and substituting in
 
         lieu thereof "twenty one dollars and sixty-two cents ($21.62).

  		SECTION 8.  That this Ordinance shall become effective
 
       	two (2) weeks from and after its passage as provided by law, but
 
   	that the operative dates of the changes in rates specified herein
 
  	shall be November 1, 1993.
